dc.description.abstract | Progress in Li-ion battery technology crucially depends on developing electrode materials with improved properties. With this perspective, the current research topic primarily aims at developing high performance electrode materials by adopting novel synthetic strategies. For instance, ion exchange and nitrate melt decomposition method have been demonstrated here to design perfectly ordered LiMO2 materials with superior electrochemical performance. Similarly, combustion technique has been used to synthesise nano LTO which exhibits high rate capability. Further, Nano-dimensional V2O5 anchored to CNT s have been synthesised for highpower, high-energy applications. The synthesis routes explored here will be of immense interest to Li-ion battery researchers. | en_US |
