Abstract: The awareness among women in India with regard to their equal rights and equal participation, with menfolk, in all walks of life, has ushered a new wave of thinking among the educationists, social workers, and such other welfare organisations. This new dimension has generated a host of research studies which have been conducted by men and women in various parts of the country. newlineThe objectives of the study are as under: newline1. To compare the attitude of the urban/rural educated muslim women towards modernization/conservatism; and newline2.
