As development speeds up, there is an enormous increment in the demand of highly reliable systems/industrial systems/components. Due to this development, system becomes more and more complex/sophisticated to meet the demand. As complexity increases, the reliability/availability of a system needs much more attention to meet the requirement. As a result of this, reliability theory attracts elite members and scientists from various fields, especially from industry, to overcome this and try to focus on those techniques due to which they can enrich the reliability of complex systems, so that the development of the society is not interrupted. Reliability theory deals with the methods and techniques by which one can ensure to optimize the system performances. newlineIn this thesis, we have tried to analyze the reliability measures of various important complex industrial systems with the aim of finding their various reliability characteristics using various techniques. For this, ten different complex industrial models, such as coal handling unit of a thermal power plant, sugar mill, paper mill plant, marine power plant etc., are developed and analyzed to find their various reliability measures. These systems incorporated various types of failures namely human failure, common cause failure, catastrophic failure, major failure, minor failure, partial failure, total failure with various repair policies. newlineModel-I investigated a system under 1-out-of-2: G scheme with perfect reworking strategy. The considered system includes three subunits A, B and C in a mixed configuration and found that the system reliability is more sensitive with respect to the failure rates of subsystem A and C. An industrial structure with k-out-of-n: F concept with human failure is investigated in model-II and was found that the reliability of the structure decreases in a curvilinear path with respect to time also reliability of the structure is equally sensitive with respect to all types of failure for the designed structure. In model-III, various reliabilit
