Abstract: | newline This thesis describes the application of various data mining tasks through algorithm to extract most valuable information from large biological data sets When computation techniques are used to analyze and interpret from these large data sets it is called Bioinformatics newlineBioinformatics has evolved tremendously in recent years due to the explosive growth of biological information generated by the scientific community Data mining an interdisciplinary field helps in understanding this huge data and analyzing them to make meaningful information newlineThere are many data mining tasks such as association rule mining classification prediction clustering that can be used on large biological data sets Some of the associated data mining tasks are pattern matching and use of fuzzy logic in data mining The main objective of this research is to understand the suitability of different data mining algorithms on large biological data sets The author aims to find the efficiencies of these algorithms on biological data and also to propose suitable algorithms used for various biological data sets related to various diseases newline |
