Abstract: The word tourism is derived from the tour meaning a Journey in which newlineone returns to the starting point (Parbati Nandi and Prmangshu, 1999). It is an newlineeconomic as well as industrial activity through individuals, firms, corporations, newlineorganizations and associations. The heritage tourism is a leisure trip with the primary newlinepurpose of visiting historic, cultural, natural, recreational and scenic attraction to learn more about the past in an enjoyable way(PHMC,2001). newline
