A novel, user friendly, polyherbal topical gel formulation containing bioactive extracts of Rosa damascena flower petals and Mimusops elengi bark was successfully developed. The formulation showed promising wound healing activity in fresh and diabetic wounds in rats. The formulation also exhibited excellent anti-aging activity in-vitro in terms of anti-collagenase, anti-elastase, anti-hyaluronidase and anti-tyrosinase activity. newlineThe polyherbal formulation was standardized using markers i.e betulinic acid from Mimusops elengi; quercetin, and kaempferol from Rosa damascena flower petals. A novel HPLC method for simultaneous estimation of betulinic acid, quercetin, and kaempferol in the gel formulation was developed and validated. newlineThe polyherbal formulation was found to be a potential candidate for treatment in wound healing and antiaging. newline
