Abstract: | This thesis entitled zigbee enabled embedded real time plant monitoring and control using mc os ii with master slave architecture is concerned to make the system to operate at higher sampling rate and well suited for Fast motion system so as to compensate any inherent time delay The data acquisition rate is improved by partitioning the overall system function into master slave module Slave module performs data acquisition simultaneously datas are processed by master modules which have data processing algorithms Conventional embedded targets for Nonlinear Real Time Applications cannot handle multiple inputs and multiple outputs time constraints and hence constraint to perform sequentially newlineThe focus of the research is to integrate the realtime scheduling concepts with ZigBee wireless communication and monitoring This research implements the effective handling of multiple tasks using RTOS concepts to suit critical applications and concurrent task handling in realtime environment Priority based preemptive task scheduling algorithm is used to protect shared data and to achieve task synchronization Thus the reliability and processing ability of the system are improved greatly by adding the mC OS II operating system newlineRTOS based embedded systems are designed with priority based multiple tasks Inter task communication and avoid data collision a major constraint in multasking RTOS system Message Queue and mail box are used to perform intertask communication to improve the task execution time Critical section scheduling is used to eliminate the data corruption In critical section the interrupt disable time is the most important specification of a real time kernel RTOS is used to keep the interrupt disable time to a minimum The algorithm is studied with respect to task execution time and response of the interrupts newline newline |
