Abstract: INTRODUCTION newlineAnemia in pregnant women not only jeopardizes maternal health but also increases newlinethe risk of adverse outcomes for both the mother and the developing fetus. Understanding the newlineunderlying physiological mechanisms and biochemical markers associated with anemia in newlinethis population is crucial for developing effective interventions and improving maternal and newlinefetal health outcomes. newlineThyroid hormones, lipid profile, serum iron, and vitamin B-12 levels are essential newlinecomponents of maternal physiology and play integral roles in pregnancy and fetal newlinedevelopment. Alterations in these biomarkers have been implicated in various complications, newlineincluding anemia, during pregnancy. However, limited research has focused on newlinecomprehensively examining the interplay between these factors specifically among pregnant newlinewomen in tribal communities in Southern Rajasthan. newlineAIM and OBJECT newlineAims: -To correlate thyroid hormones, vitamin b12,lipid profile and serum ironin newlineanemic and non anemic pregnant women. newlineObjectives:- newlineThe current research is centred on specific goals outlined as follows: newline1. Evaluating the levels of Thyroid Hormones (T3, T4, and TSH) in pregnant tribal newlinewomen, distinguishing between those who are anemic and non-anemic. newline2. Assessing the levels of Vitamin B12 in pregnant tribal women, considering both newlineanemic and non-anemic groups. newline3. Analysing biochemical markers, including Serum Iron (Fe) and Lipid Profile newline(Cholesterol, Triglycerides (T.G), High Density Lipoprotein, Low Density newlineLipoprotein, and VLDL), in pregnant tribal women with and without anemia. newline4. Investigating the correlation between Thyroid Hormone (TSH) and Lipid profile in newlinepregnant tribal women, differentiating between those who are anemic and nonanemic. newline5. Comparing all measured parameters among pregnant tribal women who are newlineexperiencing anemia. newlineREVIEW OF LITERATURE newlineAnemia in pregnant women, particularly among tribal communities in Southern newlineRajasthan, India, is a multifactorial health issue influenced by various physiological and newlineenvironmental factors.
