| Abstract: | An experimental study was undertaken to elucidate the pathological features of EDS 76 induced with strain 127 virus, in susceptible chicken, at different ages. newlineOne hundred and sixty White Leghorn (Babcock) one-day-old chicks were procured and divided into Groups A, B, C and D each consisting of forty birds. The birds of Groups A, B and C were inoculated with 320 HA units, 640 HA units and 1280 HA units of 127 virus at two weeks, ten weeks and twenty weeks of age respectively through a combined oculo-nasal route. Birds of Group D were maintained as controls. newline newline |
