Abstract: The aim of the present study was to compare the effectiveness of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on menopausal maladies among perimenopausal and post menopausal women. A randomized block design was used to compare the effect of comprehensive nursing Intervention on menopausal Maladies among perimenopausal and postmenopausal women in selected community area, at Namakkal District. The theoretical framework for the present study was based on Becker s Health Belief Model which guides the investigator to improve the awareness regarding menopausal problems and management of those problems with Comprehensive Nursing Intervention which includes Oral intake of Turmeric paste, Progressive Muscle Relaxation and Acupressure. The menopausal maladies scale (MMS) was used as a data collection tool. The major findings of the study are Experimental group I t at (plt0.05) of physiological menopausal maladies (12.10), psychological menopausal maladies (15.12) and the overall paired t test value (18.46). Experimental group II t value at (plt0.05) with the t value of physiological menopausal maladies (10.52), psychological menopausal maladies (9.98) and the overall paired t test value (16.46) in experimental group II. and Experimental group III t value at (plt0.05) of physiological menopausal maladies (18.54), psychological menopausal maladies (16.12) and the overall paired t test value (21.46) and Experimental group IV - Paired t (plt0.05) value of physiological menopausal maladies (12.12), psychological menopausal maladies (14.02) and the overall paired t test value (17.28). The conclusion of the study was the comprehensive nursing intervention which comprises of oral intake of turmeric paste, PMR and acupressure significantly reduced menopausal maladies in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. Especially it reduces menopausal maladies in postmenopausal women than in perimenopausal women. newline
