Abstract: Diabetes mellitus being systemic with insulin impairment is critically important Previous Studies showed need for effective dosage exercise type hence research needed to prescribe exercise optimally to solve insulin sensitivity in Type 2 Diabetes so supervised structured exercise program s effects randomised controlled trial is opted Objective To Analyze Effects of Supervised Structured Exercise Program on Insulin sensitivity in Type 2 Diabetes by analyzing Biochemical Markers Functional Capacity Physical performance Measures Cognitive level To analyse Relationship between HbA1c Six Minute Walk Test Design Pre test Post test Randomised control Study design Method Block Randomization By Allocation concealment Single Blinded approach 70 patients assigned 35 each in Experimental Control Groups Randomly alternating blocks viz Odd nos in Experimental and Even nos in Control Groups Experimental treated with Supervised Structured Exercise Program and Control Group treated with General Whole body exercises Protocol s duration for both Groups 60 mins per day 3 alternate days per week for 12 weeks Tools Used Blood Tests Six minute walk Timed up and go Tests Mini mental state examination Results Analysis using paired t test showed changes existed in Biochemical Markers Functional Capacity Physical performance Measures cognitive level within Experimental Control Groups and Independent t test showed changes between Experimental Control Groups Pearson s Correlation coefficient showed relationship existing between Six minute walk test and HbA1C Conclusion Results from present study shows that supervised structured exercise program is effective in reducing the issue of sensitivity in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
