dc.description.abstractTillage intensive cropping practices have deteriorated soil organic matter and soil quality in Indo-Gangetic plains of the country. Consequently, soil organic carbon (SOC) levels has declined over years. There is a need of management practices that support carbon sequestration in the soil.
