Young adults pursuing higher education often face a variety of challenges, such as newlineacclimating to a new setting, stress related to their coursework, ineffective time newlinemanagement, and hectic class schedules that cause them to be unaware of their health. newlineTheir behaviours are known risk factors for developing non-communicable diseases in newlinethe future. Based on the efficacy of theory of planned behaviour (TPB) framework based newlinebehavioural intervention, to estimate the prevalence of risk factors of Non communicable newlinedisease using WHO STEP (STEP wise approach to chronic disease risk factor newlinesurveillance) instrument among university students, to assess the effect of post-mobile newlineapplication-based intervention on lifestyle behaviour changes and to evaluate the post newlinemobile application intervention s effect on obesity, overweight and hypertension newline
