Abstract: | The study was carried out to assess the effect of yogic and physical exercises on physical, newlinephysiological and psychological variables of secondary school students, To see the pre newlineand post training effect of different treatment condition on subject, group was classified newlineinto three as Experemttal-1(yogic) and Experemntal-2(Physical exercises) and newlineexperiential group-3 as control group. 12 week training was imparted to both newlineexperimental group subjects, subject were selected by using purpose random sampling newlinetechnique, subject were chosen form Govt-Pre university college Naghathan, Vijayapur newlinedistrict in Karnataka, India, subject age ranging from 14 to 17, The physical research newlinevariables such as speed, agility, explosive power and Physiological variables were chosen newlinesuch as Vital capacity, pulse rate, blood pressure and psychological variables were newlineselected as aggressive, anxiety, emotional intelligence, and social maturity, to collect the newlinedata at pre and post test situation of experiment various standard test and psychological newlinetest were administered on the sub group of the research newlineTo assess the data ANOCOVA and t test and steffly hoc test was applied to calculate newlineand interpretation of the data,In the light of the study undertaken with certain limitation newlineimposed by experimental condition, the following conclusion were drawn ,The twelve newlineweek yogic exercises training has significantly and positive influence on the newlinephysiological variable such as vital capacity, resting pulse among Experimental group I newlineof secondary school students. ,There is positive effect of twelve week yogic exercise newlinetraining in decreasing and main ting normal status in blood pressure of systolic and newlinediastolic among the yoga practitioners group ,There is positive effect of twelve physical newlineexercise training in improving Cardiovascular endurance and decreasing body fat newlinepercentage of physical; exercise group. The yoga exercise has positively and significantly newlineinfluenced on developing agility performance among the yogic exercise group of newlinesecondary school |
