Abstract: newlineFish is highly sensitive to aquatic medium considered as primary aquatic, cold blooded, poikilothermic vertebrate. The fishery sector plays a very important role in developmental process of the country. Pradhanpat is one of the beautiful Waterfall in Western Odisha located at District Deogarh surrounded by hills and agricultural lands. The Pradhanpat Waterfall is blessed with diverse fish fauna and supplies drinking water to the whole town. newlineA significant diversity of fish species was observed in the Pradhanpat Waterfall Reservoir during the study period from 2018 to 2021. A seasonal field study was conducted for collecting fish samples during the investigation period. The waterfall cascading from the top of the hill presents a beautiful sight. The flow of water is collected in a reservoir that spans an area of 33 acres and is, enriching the village with natural beauty. The water samples collected from Pradhanpat Waterfall and Reservoir in 1L polypropylene bottle and examined at District Water Testing Laboratory, Deogarh. There is slight variation observed in physical and chemical parameters of Pradhanpat Waterfall and Reservoir. newlineThe physico-chemical parameters of Pradhanpat Waterfall results mean ± SD value of temperature (and#8304;C) 22.33 ± 0.64, pH 6.73 ± 0.51, colour is transparent, iron (mg/l) 0.24 ± 0.008, chloride (mg/l) 20.22 ± 0.58, fluoride (mg/l) 0.33 ± 0.25, alkalinity (mg/l) 40.41 ± 0.52, total hardness (mg/l) 48.55 ± 0.61, total dissolved solids (mg/l) 50.81 ± 0.52, nitrate (mg/l) 0.02 ± 0.001, turbidity (ntu) 0.003 ± 0.005, conductivity 78.3 ± 0.45 (and#956;s/cm). newlinevii newlineThe Pradhanpat Waterfall Reservoir results mean ± SD value of pH 8.34 ± 0.67, temperature (and#8304;C) 22.63 ± 0.25, colour is transparent, chloride (mg/l) 40.21 ± 0.48, iron (mg/l) 0.16 ± 0.009, alkalinity (mg/l) 96.44 ± 0.51, fluoride (mg/l) 0.60 ± 0.21, total dissolved solids (mg/l) 137.99 ± 0.45, total hardness (mg/l) 120.51 ± 0.49, conductivity 211.46 ± 0.51(and#956;s/cm), turbidity (ntu) 0.006 ± 0.01, nitrate (mg/l) 0.01 ± 0.001. newlineFish samples were
