Abstract: | Background: Asthma is currently one of the most common long-term illnesses in the world. newlineAccording to the World Health Organization (WHO), 330 million people worldwide suffer newlinefrom asthma, and by 2025 another 100 million people could have asthma. It is a chronic non newlinecommunicable inflammatory disease which occurs when our lungs encounter the allergen. The newlinesymptoms of asthma like wheezing, chest tightness, and breathlessness become severe when newlinelungs meet these stimuli. newlineMethods: The beans of Green Coffee were dried shaded and powdered then extracted by newlineethanol and water (70:30 v/v), to organize an extract of the beans. The phytochemical assays, newlinequalitative analysis by ESI-MS/MS and TLC and HPTLC analysis were investigated in GCBE newlineextracts. Quantitative total phenolic and flavonoids along with in vitro antioxidant activities newlinewere also evaluate in the hydroethanolic extract of green coffee beans. The effect of newlinehydroethanolic GCBE, chlorogenic acid (CAC) and trigonelline (TAC) were evaluated on newlinemesentery of rat for mast degranulation model, ovalbumin (OVA)sensitized mice nasal allergy newlinemodel and ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic asthma. Various inflammatory and allergic newlineparameters were observed to find out the effect of thehydroethanolic extract of green coffee newlinebeans and it s phyto biomarkers. newline |
