Abstract: Depression is a prevalent psychiatric illness disturbing people of all age groups globally. Although, many available conventional antidepressant agents are employed for the management of depressive disorder, however is poor patient compliance due to more adverse effects and a lack of prevention of the disease progression. Various phytoconstituents are used as antidepressants but they have low oral bioavailability because of low permeability as well as stability issues. The main aim of the current research work is the preparation and optimization of Chlorogenic acid-solid lipid nanoparticles and the exploration of their therapeutic effect in the management of depression. newline
