Abstract: | In supramolecular chemistry the development of chemosensor has newlinereceived a lot of interest in the identification and detection of metal ions in newlinebiological and environmental materials. Metal ions are identified using a variety newlineof analytical tools such as atomic absorption spectrometry, voltammetry, and newlineion-coupled plasma emission-mass spectrometry and ion selective electrodes. newlineThe fluorescence approach is one of the newly developing techniques. The first newlinechapter, discuss about the principle of chemosensor, design of chemosensor newlinedifferent mechanism involved in chemosensors and so on. newlineThe second chapter, discusses about various chemosensor such as newlinerhodamine-quinoline, squarin, indazole, naphthalic anhydride, coumarin, newlinenapthol, newlineaminobenzoic acid, triazole, naphtalimide, terepthalic acid, newlinesalicylimine, newlinephenol, newlinedinitrobenzene, newlineimidazophenanthroline, newlinepyrene, newlinepyrimidine, newlineoxadiazole, newlinenaphthalene, newlinedimethylaminocinnamaldehyde newlineaminothiourea, anthracene, benzoindo-croconine, Benzothiazole, sodium newlinebenzene sulfonate, carbazole, tripodal for selective and specific detection of newlinecation such as Al3+, Fe2+, Ag+ and Fe3+ metal ion. The third chapter, explains newlineabout the materials and methodology used to synthesize 2-hydroxy-1 newlinenaphthaldehyde-2-aminothiazole, 2-aminothiazolesalicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-1 newlinenaphthaldehyde sulphanilic acid, p-Dimethyl-1,3-Diphenylprop-2-en-1-one. newlineThe schiff based condensation and aldol condensation method was used to newlinesynthesize four different chemosensor. The prepared chemosensor was newlinecharacterized by various technique such as FTIR, 13C and H1 NMR and mass newlinespectroscopy. The binding between chemosensor and various metal ion was newlinestudied via fluorescence spectroscopy. The fourth chapter, explains about the newlinedetection of various metal ions using synthesized material in the biological and newlineenvironmental condition newline |
