dc.description.abstract | Crude oil availability is a major concern worldwide due to geopolitical newlineconstraints. The emissions from engines that run on crude oil products are newlinealso a major source of environmental problems. Therefore, the researchers newlineare making significant research efforts to identify alternatives to crude oil newlinethat can effectively power to internal combustion engines with reduced newlineemissions. One of the most promising alternative fuels is produce fuel from newlinewaste. Today, plastics are one of the major sources of E-waste. They also newlinehave severe environmental impact due to disposal problems. On the other newlinehand, oil production from e-waste plastic offers an opportunity to recover newlinevaluable resources from a waste product. This process recycles various newlineelectrical and electronical waste (E-Waste) plastic materials and produce E newlinewaste plastic oil (EWPO). In our project, fuel is primarily produced from newlineelectrical and electronical waste products like computers, video and audio newlinedevices, mobile phones and accessories etc., newlineInvestigations are carried out by employing seven different types of newlinefuels in the diesel engine. Pure Diesel, blend of EWPO with diesel at different newlineproportion (10%,20%,40%,60%,80%) and pure EWPO. Experimental newlineevaluations like Performance, Combustion and Emission characteristics of newlineEWPO are evaluated using a standard single cylinder, four stroke, direct newlineinjection, water cooled diesel engine with fuel measuring unit, air and fuel newlineflow measurements, and five gas analyzers. AVL 444 di-gas analyzer and newlineAVL 437 smoke meter are used to measure exhaust emissions and smoke newlinelevel newline | |
