Multi fuzzy rough sets relations topology and applications

Abstract

Over the years, the literature on mathematical theories and models for decision newlinemaking under uncertainty is enriched with a lot of studies. Many generalizations newlineand hybridizations of existing techniques came into existence and proved their newlineapplicability in different contexts. Plenty of mathematical models have been newlinedeveloped to address different aspects of uncertainty. The objective of this newlinethesis is to initiate the studies on uncertainty and indiscernibility occurring in newlinemulti-dimensions. The concept of multi-fuzzy rough sets is proposed to handle newlinemultiple uncertain characteristics of the objects as well as indiscernibility among the newlineobjects. The theory is generalized using fuzzy logical connectives namely, t-norm newlineand implicator. Further study on the generalized set structure reveals the topological newlineproperties of multi-fuzzy approximation spaces. The possibility of multi-fuzzy newlinecovering approximation spaces is explored. The idea of multi-fuzzy information newlinesystems widens the scope of the new approach. The claim is validated by illustrating newlinethrough a fictitious real-life example. newline
