Abstract: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the e-commerce sector experienced unprecedented growth as consumer behaviours shifted towards online shopping. This study evaluates the impact of the pandemic on e-commerce, focusing on various aspects such as consumer preferences, seller dynamics, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. Through a comprehensive analysis of data collected from multiple sources including surveys, interviews, and industry reports, the study seeks to provide insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by e commerce businesses during the pandemic era. Additionally, it examines the strategies adopted by companies to adapt to the new normal and thrive in the rapidly evolving digital marketplace. The findings of this study aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the transformations within the e-commerce landscape brought about by the pandemic and offer valuable implications for businesses, policymakers, and researchers alike. The study delves into the consumer behaviour shifts triggered by the pandemic, investigating changes in purchasing patterns, product preferences, and the adoption of digital payment methods. It also explores the challenges faced by e-commerce platforms in terms of logistics, supply chain disruptions, and ensuring customer satisfaction amidst heightened demand. Moreover, the study evaluates the role of technology in facilitating e-commerce operations during the pandemic, including the utilization of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and augmented reality to enhance user experience and streamline business processes. Additionally, regulatory responses to the surge in e-commerce activities during the pandemic are examined, assessing their effectiveness in safeguarding consumer rights and promoting fair competition. By providing a holistic evaluation of the e-commerce landscape in the COVID-19 era, this study aims to inform strategic decision-making and policy formulation to support the continued growth and resilience of the digital economy. newline
