Abstract: Organisations today are actively looking for viable methods to create a newlinesustainable balance between employee productivity and job satisfaction. Conventional newlineemployee well-being interventions like motivational lectures, gaming and outbound newlineprogrammes, regular in house fun and learning involvements are continuously newlineconducted by the HR yet the shelf life of motivation and productivity is not newlinesatisfactorily long term. Also their impact of these interventions on the bottom line newlinealong with compromised man hours pinches the management leading to the newlineconventional push policy coming in force leading to more stress and dissatisfaction on newlineboth sides. Managements are looking for sustainable methods to enhance the emotional newlineintelligence of their workforce in order to reduce job stress and burnout. Arresting newlineattrition today is also a priority concern for HR along with ensuring quality output from newlinethe employees. Meditation, as research says, shows up as a solution to the current newlinescenario. Meditation is a very cost effective and sustainable method to reduce stress newlineand anxiety and can have long lasting effects. Mindfulness meditation or self-awareness newlineof emotions helps in decreasing emotional pain, anxiety and depression and also helps newlinein making a person feel more energetic and active. newline
