Abstract: The supply chain is the series of events that occur throughout the manufacturing and dis- tribution of any commodity or service, from raw material to end consumer. Retail supply chain management is crucial for the smooth flow of goods from producers to customers. With the current market environment being dynamic, featuring shifting consumer expec- tations and unpredictable demand, it s more critical than ever to have efficient, secure, and transparent supply chain systems.These issues were handled by the recent technolo- gies like Machine Learning, IoT, Big Data, and Deep learning. There were maximum coverage by these technologies but even though some issues like transparency, traceabil- ity and automation were not get the coverage in it.Blockchain technology has emerged as a potential solution to these challenges, offering decentralized and immutable record- keeping capabilities. The proposed blockchain based framework,CFSEBM (Cryptic Framework for Supply Chain by Ethereum Block Machine), is aimed at enhanc- ing retail supply chain management through the use of Ethereum blockchain technology. The framework is made up of three interconnected modules: the Ethereum blockchain module, transaction management module, and supply chain management module. Each module plays a different role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and transparency of the retail supply chain. The framework s base is the Ethereum blockchain module, which uses the Ethereum blockchain s distributed ledger technology to provide a tamper-proof and transparent record of transactions. This ensures data integrity and eliminates the possibility of fraud or manipulation within the supply chain. The Ethereum blockchain module employs the distributed ledger technology of the Ethereum blockchain to create an unalterable and transparent record of transactions. Every transaction is recorded on the blockchain, ensuring data accuracy and eliminating the possibility of fraud or manipulation in the supply chain. The transaction management module concentrates on optimizing transaction processing within the retail supply chain. By utilizing smart contracts, the module automates various aspects of transaction management, including order fulfillment, payment processing, and contract enforcement. Smart contracts facili- tate trust-less interactions between, reducing the need for intermediaries and streamlin- ing transactional processes. The supply chain management module offers a comprehen- sive array of capabilities aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency and transparency of the retail supply chain. Important features include real-time inventory tracking, prod- uct traceability, and demand forecasting. Through the use of blockchain technology, the module provides real-time visibility into the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, allowing stakeholders to make proactive decisions and minimize the risk of stock outs or overstocking. newlineThe CFSEBM framework is evaluated through rigorous testing on multiple open-source environments, including Rinkeby, JVM, and Ropsten. Performance metrics such as newlinevi newlinetransaction costs, gas ratios, and throughput are analyzed to assess the framework s effectiveness in optimizing supply chain operations. The results demonstrate significant improvements in transactional efficiency and cost-effectiveness, validating the efficacy of the CFSEBM framework in enhancing retail supply chain management.The implemen- tation of the framework is created along with all the transaction timestamps and the recipts of it. In addition to transactional efficiency, the framework addresses the chal- lenge of rising gas costs on the Ethereum network by integrating external data sources through oracles. By incorporating real-world data into the blockchain ecosystem, the framework enhances the accuracy and relevance of demand forecasting, enabling retail- ers to better anticipate consumer demand and optimize resource allocation. Overall, the CFSEBM framework represents a significant advancement in retail supply chain management, offering a robust, secure, and efficient solution for addressing the com- plex challenges facing modern supply chains. By harnessing the power of blockchain technology, retailers can optimize their operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain a competitive edge in today s rapidly evolving marketplace.
