Abstract: | Although anyone may require an assistive product at some phase or any point in their lives people with disabilities both adult and child the elderly and people with chronic conditions such as dementia and diabetes are the most likely to newlinerequire them frequently Some examples of the assistive devices are wheelchairs hearing aids eyeglasses, prosthetic limbs and memory aids While preventing or reducing the influence of secondary health problems such as lower limb amputation in diabetics these devices can assist people in maintaining newlinetheir independence and general well being Also they can minimize the strain on newlinecareers and the requirement for official health and support services Additionally newlinehaving access to appropriate assistive technology shows a big impact on both newlinesocial and economic advancement Access to these products is still limited despite the high demand for them and their well known benefits It is crucial to address this unmet demand if the Sustainable development goals and convention on the rights of persons with newlinedisabilities are to be achieved. Throughout the world children with impairments newlineare amongst the groups that are most stigmatized and marginalized newlineThey have a higher chance to grow up with worse health less education and newlinefewer employment possibilities than their peers without impairments newlineAdditionally, they are most likely to endure injustice and poverty. Females with newlinedisabilities face discrimination that is significantly more severe due to their newlinegender their disability and additional aggravating factors, including their race newline newline |
