Abstract: The growth dynamics among Indian states during past two decades has created considerable interest of researchers to analytically understand the roles of growth theories. Many literatures have been formed to evident the growth phases of Indian economy especially since the beginning of new economic reforms of early 1990s. Large number of studies had measured the roles of the economic reforms for the remarkable and resilient economic growth of India. Parallel, it is well known that Indian economy is adopted federal economic structure where states have been given equal responsibilities in managing the economic health of the very state. In this regard present study has taken a motivation to understand the growth dynamics of Indian states post economic reforms period. The study highlights the macro-economic profiles of Indian states by taking the macro-economic indicators. newline
