dc.description.abstract | newline Multilevel Inverters are finding enlarged consideration in industry as one of the favored adoptions of electric power conversion for medium voltage high power applications. The MLIs provide output voltage with greater waveform quality and less electromagnetic interference. It can be regarded as mature and tested technologies as a result of its successful entry into the industry. Currently, they are produced commercially as standard and specialized goods that power a variety of applications, including uninterrupted power supplies, AC adjustable speed drives, solar energy systems, wind turbine systems, electric aircraft, electric vehicles, high voltage DC transmission, centrifugal fans, pumps, mixers, extruders, test stands, and conveyors. Multilevel inverters have a vast range of research and development opportunities that remain growing in depth and breadth. They also present an amazing amount of problems. Furthermore, to reduce the total harmonic distortion, improve efficiency, reliability, simplicity and reduce the cost of multilevel inverters. MLI focuses on reduction in switch count. | |
