dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present study was to reveal the work effectiveness among secondary school teachers in relation to locus of control, resilience and self-regulation. In the present study, work effectiveness was the dependent variable, and locus of control, resilience and self-regulation were independent variables. Analysis of variance using (2x2) factorial design was used to study the interaction effect of locus of control, resilience and self-regulation. The study was conducted on 200 teachers of Government and Private secondary schools from the Malwa region of Punjab. Five districts were selected randomly. Out of these five districts 20 schools were selected. The results revealed that no significant difference exists between male and female school teachers in work effectiveness. No difference was found in the work effectiveness among school teachers with respect to external and internal locus of control, high and low levels of resilience and self-regulation. No interaction exists between the locus of control and resilience, locus of control and self-regulation and resilience and self-regulation on the work effectiveness among school teachers. The findings of the present study have important implications for both teachers and students. The present study was restricted to Malwa region of Punjab state only. It is therefore suggested that the same study can be conducted in other regions of Punjab. newline
