Abstract: Diabetes Mellitus is the disease of concern in almost all parts of the world. The most newlinecommon form of Diabetes Mellitus is Type-2 and almost 80% of the total cases are found newlineto be in the developing countries. Type -2 Diabetes Mellitus is a systemic, non newlinecommunicable disease with multiple metabolic disorders, results from impaired insulin newlinesecretion and function, resulting in hyperglycemia. Chronic hyperglycemia newlinecauses oxidative stress, inflammation, and disorders of the body. The adipose tissuederived Inter Lukins-6 can stimulate CRP secretion to further increase Insulin Resistance newlineand initiate low-grade inflammation leading to Type-2DM. Neutrophils lymphocytes newlineRatio is a relatively newer parameter that has been recently considered as alternate to newlineassess the inflammation and it can be easily determined with the help of complete blood count report. Diabetes targets the lungs and related structures. Pulmonary damage at an early stage in most diabetes cases is subclinical. Spirometry non invasively quantify the physiological reserves in a large micro-vascular bed that is not clinically affected by diabetes. newlineAim and Objective newlineThe aim was to investigate the comparison of FEV1/FVC and inflammatory markers (CRP and Neutrophils lymphocytes Ratio) in Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus patients and healthy Individuals with the objective to Compare FEV1/FVC and Inflammatory Markers (C-Reactive Protein and Neutrophils Lymphocytes Ratio) in Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients and Healthy Individuals and to Correlate of FEV1/FVC and Inflammatory Markers (C-Reactive Protein and Neutrophils Lymphocytes Ratio) in Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients and Healthy Individuals. newlineMaterial and Methods newlineThis was a comparative cross-sectional study which included 216 diabetic and 216 healthy age and gender matched subjects between 30 to 60 years. Easy on PC ndd Medizintechnik AG CH-8005 Zurich was used for lung function, The quotBIO-RAD D-10quot analyzer was used to calculate HbA1c
