dc.description.abstract | The present thesis deals with the investigations on converter-fed DC drives with PV topology. This work mainly proposes an Interleaved Boost Converter (ILBC) to control the speed of DCM. Open loop Single boost converter, flyback converter, and interleaved boost converter are analyzed and simulated with PV topology. The outcomes are presented in terms of output Voltage, output power, and speed, the results are contrasted. The outcomes delineate the superior response of the interleaved boost converter. newlineThe interleaved boost DC-DC Converters and flyback converters are suggested in this study with PV topology for controlling a DC motor. ILBC is recommended to reduce the current ripple. The objective of the current effort is to use FLC to enhance the dynamic response of ILBC-DCM. Results are presented from a comparison of a closed loop interleaved boost DC-DC converter and flyback converter with a PI (Proportional Integral) and FL (Fuzzy Logic) controller. Settling time and steady state error are used to evaluate the outcomes. newlineTwo loop Interleaved boost converter- DCMotor System with P.I-P.I/FLC-FLC is designed, analyzed, and simulated. The outcomes are evaluated by means of using settling time and steady state error. FL controlled Two loop interleaved boost converter-DC Motor System represents superior performance. newline | |
