Development of vanadium based bimetallic graphene nanocomposite as a pt free counter electrode for dye sensitized solar cell

Abstract

This thesis entitled with Development of Vanadium Based Bimetallic Graphene Nanocomposite as A Pt Free Counter Electrode for Dye Sensitized Solar Cell vanadium-based graphene doped nano materials were developed to replace the counter electrode platinum in dye sensitized solar cells. The vanadium based bimetallic doped graphene materials like VOGp, VOMoGp, VOWGp, VNGp, VNMoGp, VNWGp . These composite material were synthesized by novel route and physiochemically characterized using various techniques like (XRD) X-Ray Diffraction, Raman Spectroscopy, (HRTEM) High resolution Transmission Electron Microscope, SEM with EDAX scanning electron microscope and (XPS) X-ray photo electron Spectroscopy and Electrochemical studies like CV cyclic voltammetry, Electrochemical impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Tafel Plot . these developed counter electrodes were fabricated as a cell and performance were analyzed for VOGp, VOMoGp, VOWGp, the fill factor 63.03,60.33,60.27and Efficiency 2.74%,4.58%,5.52% were calculated. newline
