Abstract: newline ABSTRACT newlineThe present study is an attempt to study the green marketing practices carried out by both newlineprivate and public hospitals in Chhattisgarh state as per the Association of Health Care newlineProvider India (AHPI) Standards. The study based on various demographic variables and six newlinefactors adopted from Association of Health Care Providers India (AHPI) Standards in order newlineto make a comparative study of public and private hospitals. The current research study newlinepresented in five different chapters: newlineChapter I is an introductory chapter, which provides an overview on sustainable development newlinewhich is the core of green marketing along with international submits conducted by countries newlinearound the world on sustainable development. This chapter also discussed about concept of newlinegreen marketing and green marketing practices in healthcare industry. The chapter also newlinebriefed about Association of Health Care Providers India (APHI) Standards on which the newlinestudy has been carried out in public and private hospitals. newlineChapter II presents the brief review of literature on the preceding studies both in national and international levels which help us to identify the various factors of green marketing practices carried out by different industries around the world and tried to understand the research gap associated with the various researches previously done. The chapter ends with the conceptual framework of the study and research gap followed by objectives and hypotheses of the study. newlineChapter III deals with the research methodology adopted for the current study. It presents the population, research design and sample size, sampling method, data collection methods, statistical tools used in the study and demographic profile of the respondents. newlineChapter IV deals with the analysis and interpretation of data of the proposed hypotheses and models incorporated in the study. Hypotheses have been tested and interpretation made at the newlineend. newlineii Chapter V presents findings and discussions of the study. The chapter concludes the
