Abstract: | ABSTRACT newlineToday s world is rapidly evolving, and its expectations and demands for an improved quality newlineof life are increasing the pressure on all spheres of life, especially healthcare. Healthcare newlineis one of the most extensive socio-economic factors in the development of any country. A newlinecountry with a poor healthcare system adversely affects its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) newlineand, consequently, its performance in the international market. The global healthcare system newlinefaces unprecedented challenges, including unequal access to care, high costs, and a shortage newlineof healthcare workers, among others. Additionally, increasing population density and rising newlinedemands for effective treatment, coupled with limited availability of infrastructure, specialized newlinedoctors, and caregivers, impact the quality of life. Therefore, the accessibility of efficient newlinehealthcare provisions remains one of the world s largest and most significant social and newlineeconomic concerns, necessitating new and advanced scientific and technological solutions. newlineFurthermore, the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 has had a significant newlineimpact on the worldwide healthcare system and has shaken up the global economy. As the newlineworld experiences heightened urbanization and technological advancements, the amalgamation newlineof Industry 4.0 technologies in healthcare systems has gained paramount importance. newlineThis integration has the potential to revolutionize the way healthcare services are managed, newlineensuring that the diagnostic process and overall patient care become significantly more productive newlineand efficient. Furthermore, the seamless incorporation of technological innovations newlinewith healthcare providers holds the potential to eliminate disparities between urban and rural newlineareas, promising impartial high-quality healthcare for citizens worldwide. newlineOur thesis aims to accomplish two key objectives: first, to present an in-depth assessment newlineof the existing literature; and second, to propose efficacious and innovative solutions newlineand conceptual frameworks by leveraging Industry 4 |
