Abstract: Photoinduced hyperthermia holds great potential as an alternative to conventional therapies for diseases like cancer. Fluorescent photothermal agents can serve both diagnostic and therapeutic roles making them theranostic agents. Self-limiting hyperthermia, where the procedure limits itself to induce heat within a programmed temperature range is a futuristic perspective for this treatment procedure. newline
