dc.description.abstract | newline In this comprehensive research, the structural performance of concrete beam-column (BC) joints strengthened with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) laminate and fabrics was meticulously investigated. The study encompassed a wide range of structural parameters, including compressive strength, split tensile strength, modulus of rupture, and modulus of elasticity of concrete. Furthermore, the ductility index, energy dissipation, and failure modes of these strengthened joints were examined to gain a profound understanding of their behavior under different loading conditions and strengthening configurations of CFRP. The research also evaluated various design standards and their influence on the structural behavior exhibited by the tested specimens. One of the critical findings of this research pertains to the substantial improvements in load-bearing capacity observed in the strengthened BC joints. | |
