Abstract: | Diabetes mellitus (DM) is characterized predominantly by elevated blood glucose, newlineexcessive thirst, and hyperphagia. Diabetes has been identified as one of most prevalent newlinemetabolic diseases, and its incidence continues to climb at an alarming pace throughout the newlineentire world. Diabetes prevalence among people globally has increased around 4.7 percent in newline1980 to 8.5 percent in 2014, and the number of people with diabetes quadrupled in the newlineintervening years, increasing from 108 million to 422 million. Diabetes is expected to be the newlineseventh leading cause of death by 2030, according to the WHO. Diabetes increases the chance newlineof getting hypertension, cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, stroke, and numerous newlineforms of cancer. When diabetes and/or any of the subsequent metabolic illnesses are newlinerecognized, the pathophysiological condition is exceedingly difficult to reverse. DM is usually newlinediagnosis, and therapy evaluation have been described in distinct populations. newlinethought to be characterized by impaired metabolic state. Some metabolites unique to DM risk, newlineThe major challenging in current research targets towards the undiagnosed diabetes mellitus newline(UDM). There are several factors that can contribute to cases of DM going undiagnosed for newlineextended periods of time. The causes may include limitations within health systems, inadequate newlineunderstanding among the common population and healthcare professionals, and the gradual newlinedevelopment of signs or onset of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Uncontrolled high blood glucose newlinelevels are a characteristic of undiagnosed diabetes mellitus which can ultimately result in the newlineemergence numerous micro- and macrovascular problems. It would be very difficult to revert newlineto the pathophysiological condition when DM and/or any of the ensuing metabolic illnesses newlineremain undiagnosed. Consequently, early detection and management are essential for the newlineprevention of DM newline |
