Abstract: newline The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme, launched by the Government of India, aims to provide newlinetimely and adequate credit to farmers to meet their agricultural needs. This study focuses on the newlineeconomic analysis of the Kisan Credit Card scheme in Karnataka, evaluating its effectiveness in newlineaddressing the financial needs of farmers, improving their access to institutional credit, and newlinepromoting agricultural growth. The research examines the implementation of KCCs, their usage newlinepatterns, and the challenges faced by farmers in the state. Using both primary and secondary data, newlinethe study analyzes the socio-economic background of KCC holders, the role of financial newlineinstitutions, and the impact of KCCs on agricultural productivity and farmers income.
