Abstract: | Here, we introduce a versatile donor-and#960;-acceptor (D-and#960;-A) based organic small newlinemolecule containing phenothiazine (PTZ) with a long alkyl chain as the donor unit, the newlinevinyl-substituted thiophene moiety as a and#960; bridge, and a rhodanine-(CN)2 moiety as an newlineacceptor unit for the first time, denoted as AA1 and used it as an interface material in newlinePRVS (perovskite solar cells). The strategy behind designing this D-and#960;-A system is to newlinerealize comparatively higher charge carrier mobility, intermolecular charge newlinedelocalization, and strong dipolar intermolecular interaction. The emphasis of newlinephenothiazine as a donor unit is due to its non-planar rigid structure, which assists in newlinereducing aggregation, imparts strong intermolecular interaction, and provides good newlineoptical and electronic properties with high hole mobility, and also a vast selection of newlinesynthetics with tunable functionalization is possible. The thiophene unit increases the and#960; newlineconjugation and results in improved and#960;-and#960; stacking. The end group acceptor unit comprised newlineof rhodanine with two cyano groups enhances the intermolecular interaction. Further, newlineacting as a Lewis base will help create a more robust binding pathway to the surface newlineundercoordinated Pb2+ of the perovskite absorber newline |
