Abstract: Unlike earlier people are willing to buy branded items and not local goods or newlineproducts. And if those demanded brands are supplied near their convenient place and newlinewith good and prompt services the retailer will get benefitted with a good volume of newlinesales and business. And nowadays even small retailers are enjoying good profits. The newlinemain objective is to study the emotional branding towards general services and towards newlineretail outlets of selected customers in Coimbatore District and to study the problems newlinefaced by the customer towards retail outlets in Coimbatore District. For this purpose a newlinesample of 900 respondents were taken as samples were Simple Percentage analysis, newlineDescriptive statistics, Kruskal Wallis test, One way Anova, and Factor Analysis were newlineused as statistical tools for analyzing the data. And also, SEM model has been used for newlinethe study. The conclusion is that the retailer has to write a brand name in the minds of newlinethe customer. If he wishes to shop, immediately he must get struck about the name of newlinethe brand in his mind. The main reasons for the customers selects a brand is the customer newlinebelieves that a branded product will be of good quality, fresh and hygienic, attractive newlineoffers on the products, convenient mode of payments, good after sales service, etc. Such newlinethings make the customers to visit the stores again and again. Thus a bond is created newlinebetween a brand retailer and its customer and this loyalty never go wrong unless or newlineotherwise an untoward thing happens. Also, in Coimbatore retail business is on its due newlineto the people getting attracted toward these kind of stores as they get their products at newlinegood, competitive rates, with good quality and all the products under one roof. And also, newlinethe environment for shopping is customer friendly and good space for parking the vehicles, newlineetc. All add up to these. Hence the shopkeeper must retain those customers by means of newlineproviding good service, selling good quality products etc. Reliability, Quality and Good newlinehospitality are the key factor
