Investigation on solar pv equipped flexible ac dc microgrid based energy management for effective residential power distribution

Abstract

newline Renewable energy sources are non-conventional and eco friendly. The renewable energy technology is a direct substitute of recent technology. With the assistance of renewable energy, more energy can be saved and better environment can be made. During the last two to three decades, more environmental related problems have been created and hence, the usage of renewable energy technology has become highly applicable for better environmental conditions. Since the worldwide population expands, there is an increase in energy consumption which has prompted the development of alternate energy sources. Indian renewable energy sector is the fourth most attractive renewable energy market in the Globe. The Government of India is committed to increase the usage of clean energy sources and is already undertaking various large-scale sustainable power projects and promoting green energy highly. The relationship between the renewable energy and the sustainable development and their future scopes are broadly discussed in this work. From the results of the present work, it is found that renewable energy generation, energy efficiency, economic growth, and carbon emissions are the essential elements in renewable energy consumption. Further, to encourage the renewable energy consumption, renewable energy integration, energy efficiency sector and environmentally related technological innovation have been suggested.
