Abstract: | Due to their unique physicochemical qualities, such as the ability to dissolve a wide newlinerange of inorganic and organic chemicals, high viscosity, low toxicity, strong ionic newlineconductivity, and extraordinarily high thermal stability, ionic liquids (ILs) are the newlinemost useable molecules. These unique properties of ILs make them ideal for use in newlinethe chemical, biological, analytical, and material sciences. Ionic liquids, poly ionic newlineliquids, and task specific ionic liquids (TSILs) are commonly employed as catalysts newlineand solvents in organic transformation in academia, research institutes, and the newlinepharmaceutical industries. Dicationic ionic liquids (DILs) are a unique category of newlineionic liquids that have recently been produced in addition to conventional ionic newlineliquids. DILs are more adaptable than MILs and have greater thermal stability due to newlinetwo head groups being connected by a stiff or flexible spacer and two monoanions newlinebecause of the enormous number of possible changes in the cation, anion, or side newlinechain (linker). In addition to ILs, small organic molecules find extensive use in the newlinedomains of chemical sensors, field-effect transistors (FETs), dye-sensitized solar cells newline(DSSCs), and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). This is due to their broad conjugation. newlineOptoelectronics (OAs) can greatly benefit from conjugated molecules (COMs) that newlineexhibit promising photoluminescence (PL) when aggregated. As a result, there is a newlinemovement to develop novel organic fluorophores (OFs) with aggregation-induced newlineemission (AIE). Second, the use of white light emitting devices in liquid crystal newlinedisplays, backlighting sources, and full-color panel displays has made them extremely newlineimportant. As a result, there are many great applications for the ILs in conjunction newlinewith COMs in optoelectronics. These considerations lead to the conclusion that the newline newlinearea of producing DILs for organic processes, and conjugated organic molecules/it- newlinebased ionic liquids for sensing, WLE, and AIE applications is expanding. This thesis newline newlinerepresents a modest effort to design nove |
