Abstract: newline Several intrinsic benefits, such as continuous supply, variable routing, simplicity of newlineautomation, and long-distance transport capabilities, make pipeline conveyance of newlinegranular particles in slurry popular in industry. Low concentration solid slurry newlinetransport systems have been developed in response to the need for energy and water newlineconservation, the industrial need to transport a large amount of solids mass. Recent newlineadvances in turbulent flow modelling methods have offered a framework for the newlineinvestigation of pipeline networks containing hazardous materials. Due to the intricate newlineinteractions among the component phases, the transport mechanism of solids in low newlineconcentration (10-40%) slurry transport systems has been satisfactorily described, but newlinethe phenomenon has not yet been fully understood for conveying greater newlineconcentration slurry due to its complexity. Therefore, this study aims to examine the newlinebehavior of slurry transport systems with greater concentrations. Computational fluid newlinedynamics (CFD) analysis has made it feasible to study slurry transport systems with a newlinegreater concentration. newlineIn this research work, numerical simulations are used to investigate the transport newlinemechanism of slurries with greater concentrations. Because slurry transport system newlinedesigners are still relying on data from pilot plant test facilities, the current knowledge newlinebase for slurry pipeline design is far from comprehensive, especially for higher newlineconcentration slurries. In addition, because constructing a new slurry pipeline system newlineis quite expensive, it is necessary to keep those costs as low as possible. The newlineimplementation of an optimization approach for the same objective necessitates the newlineuse of sound design methodology. Slurry pipeline system design criteria have not yet newlinebeen defined, according to a literature review. Additional complexity is added to the newlineproblem by a lack of published data on the flow of high concentration slurries through newlinea pipeline bend. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations can be adopted, i
