Abstract: Residential applications requires uninterrupted power supply newlineand it finds difficult to be achieved by traditional power generating newlinemethod. The depletion of fossil fuels and emission of toxic gases like CO2 newlineand CO, lean towards finding an alternate method for power generation. newlineThis upturns the focus on powering household by using renewable or newlinegreen energy. Renewable energy is the key solution for reduction of fuel newlineconsumption and emission of greenhouse gases. It is accessible cost free newlineeven in isolated areas. But, renewable energy is discontinuous in nature newlineand hence continual power supply raise into a challenging chore. Thus, newlinethis research emphases on the hybrid combination of green energy sources newlinefor residential applications. Solar/Wind Hybrid Energy System (SWHES) newlineoutfits to situations where wind and sun-light has seasonal swings. newlineTherefore, in the proposed research work, both the wind and solar newlineresources are combined together to form a hybrid method for producing newlinecontinuous power, then powering residential applications. newlineTo form hybrid energy system, it is necessary to integrate solar newlineand wind sources along with the storage element. This hybrid energy newlinesystem can be accomplished by development of a power converter. newlineExisting systems use separate converters for each renewable sources. This newlineleads to a complex configuration with more number of components. It newlinedisturbs the reliability and hence the efficiency of the system. To newlineovercome these issues, in this research dual input SEPIC and dual input newlineLuo DC/DC converters are used. Performance comparison of individual newlineand fused converters are presented using MATLAB Simulink with three newlinephase induction motor as load. It is observed that Fused Luo Converter newlinevi newline(FLUOC) is highly effective with less time domain specifications. newlineAdditionally, a hardware model is created to evaluate the features of the newlinerecommended FLUOC with hybrid energy system for producing newlineuninterrupted power supply. newlineIf there are variations in source or load, the behavior of the newlineconverter gets changed.
