Abstract: The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) has led to an exponential increase in data newlinegeneration from various devices, posing significant challenges to traditional cloud-based computing architectures. To address the limitations of centralized cloud computing and optimize data processing in IoT applications, fog computing has emerged as a promising paradigm. Fog computing brings computation and storage closer to the edge of the newlinenetwork, reducing latency and enhancing system performance. However, effective newlineresource management remains a critical concern in fog computing environments. newlineResource management in fog computing poses several significant challenges that need to newlinebe addressed to fully leverage the potential of this paradigm. One of the key challenges is the dynamic nature of the fog environment, characterized by a large number of newlineheterogeneous IoT devices generating vast amounts of data. This dynamism requires realtime resource allocation and load balancing to meet fluctuating application demands and prevent congestion at fog nodes. Additionally, the distribution of fog nodes across geographically diverse locations introduces communication delays and varying network newlineconditions, making efficient resource utilization and task scheduling critical. Moreover, fog nodes may have limited computational and storage capacities, necessitating intelligent resource allocation to avoid bottlenecks and optimize system performance. newlineFurthermore, ensuring security and privacy in resource management is paramount, given newlinethe sensitivity of data processed at the edge. These challenges demand innovative newlinesolutions that can adapt to the dynamic and resource-constrained fog environment while newlineensuring low latency, efficient utilization, and robust security measures... newline newline
