Medicinal chemistry and organic chemistry are involved in the development and designing of new drugs and evaluates their biological importance for various diseases, it is present on the shoulder of studies of heterocyclic compounds. Heterocycles exhibit a wide range of biological characteristics, many of which are vital to human life and can be used medicinally. Nearly all widely recognized substances, including medications, vitamins, and various natural products, are composed of heterocycle subunits. Numerous bioactive substances, both synthetic and natural, have nitrogen, and sulphur as constituents in their structure and function. Therefore, there is still a lot of interest in organic chemistry regarding the synthesis of Thia and Aza heterocycles. newlineThese expansive significances of heterocyclic compounds encouraged us to work in the area of synthesis of heterocycles with pharmaceutical interest. In this proposed work different heterocycles were prepared by using poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG-400) as an environmentally benign reaction solvent and Bleaching earth clay as a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst. All the synthesized compounds were screened for their biological evaluations. newline
