Abstract: | newline The present study was carried out to estimate the renal-associated complication in type 2 diabetic patients in different age groups in Durg District, CG. Blood samples were collected in test tubes to separate plasma and serum to analyze the biochemical parameters related to diabetes and Kidney function. The parameters like blood glucose performed by GOD-POD, HbA1c by Nephelometric methods, Creatinine by Mod. Jaffe s kinetic method, Urea by GLDH Kinetic method, Uric acid by Uricase-PAP, Calcium TRUEchemie Calcium (ARSENAZO III Method), Serum Electrolytes (Colorimetric method), Glomerular Filteration Rate. Urine samples were collected to estimate Microalbuminuria by turbidimetric immunoassay method and Albumin Creatinine Ratio. newlineTotal of 1500 screened subjects, 299 Type 2 Diabetic eligible subjects were enrolled out of which 9.8% were females and 10.13% males. The mean age of Female was 38.7±6.33 and the mean age of male was 39.0±7.17 years. The mean age of overall population of diabetic subjects was 38.9±6.76. newlineIn this study, the subjects have been divided into three groups i.e. age group G1 from 18-27 years, age group G2 from 28-37 years and age group G3 from 38-47 years. newlineSex wise distribution of study population, based on diabetic parameters: newlineBlood Glucose fasting- The mean and SD value of age for males and females for entire study population was found 121.5±5.89 and 122.1±5.55 respectively. There was no significant difference observed between males and females with respect to fasting blood glucose level (p valuegt0.05). newlineHbA1c- The mean and SD value of age for males and Females for entire study population was found 6.68±0.016 and 6.66±0.015. There was no significant difference observed between males and females with respect to blood fasting glucose level (p valuegt0.05). newlineAge wise distribution of overall study population, based on diabetic parameters: newlineBlood Glucose fasting - G1 has mean and SD value of fasting glucose level of 115.9±3.82. G2 has mean and SD value of fasting glucose level of 121.2±5.62 and G3 has mea |
