Abstract: Main objective of this thesis work is to synthesize the Novel Heterocyclic newlineCompounds and their Chalcogenides . newlinePhosphorus heterocycles have potential against anticancer and antibacterial properties, newlinesix-membered phosphorus heterocycles and their derivatives have attracted a lot of newlineattention in chemistry. newlineThe typical method to synthesize oxazaphosphinine and its derivatives via literature newlinedescribes cyclization using P(V) precursors such phosphorus oxychloride and newlinethiophosphoryl chloride. Here, we describe the synthesis of six-membered phosphorus newlineheterocycles using with PhPCl2 as P(III) precursors, followed by their oxidation to P(V) newlinederivatives with elemental sulfur, and selenium. newlineChapter 1: Introduction and Literature Survey newlineThis chapter describes the detailed literature about six-member phosphorus heterocycle newlineand their derivatives. newlineChapter 2: Experimental and Characterisation Methodologies and Techniques newlineThis chapter describes the experimental manipulations and techniques used to isolate newlinestable compounds and to elucidate their structure... newline newline
