dc.description.abstractnewline 140 newlineCHAPTER-4 newlineDATA ANALYSIS AND RESULTS newlineThe present chapter is devoted to deals with the depiction, organization, analysis and interpretation of the data gathered through the administration of various scales to study the aggression among senior secondary school students in relation to gender, residential background and anxiety. Collection of data merely presents a stock of facts unless it is analyzed and interpreted properly. The foremost task before the investigator, after the collection of data, is its compilation and careful tabulation and then cautious analysis and interpretation so that meaningful inferences could be drawn. The aim of the present study was to investigate the aggression among senior secondary school students in relation to gender, residential background and anxiety. In this chapter, researcher applied descriptive statistics to draw frequency distributions for aggression pattern of senior secondary school students in order to explain this variable. To find out the mean differences between aggression (overall and component wise) in relation to their gender, residential background and anxiety, mean and standard deviation along with t-value has computed. In order to study the interactional effect of gender and anxiety, gender and residential background and residential background and anxiety, two-way Analysis of Variance has applied. Significance of values has checked at 0.01 and 0.05 level of significance.
