Abstract: | Scientometric is the field of study concerned with measuring and analyzing scholarly literature. It is a subfield of informetrics. Major research issues include measuring the impact of research papers and academic journals, understanding scientific citations, and using such measures in policy and management contexts. The study consists of three parts: A. Preliminary pages consist of a declaration certificate of supervisor, acknowledgement, list of publications, abstract, table of contents, tables, figures, maps, and abbreviations and acronyms. B. The first chapter of the study deals with various aspects of scientometrics, such as meaning, definition, types, history, laws, tools, applications of scientometrics, etc. Modern Scientometric is mainly based on the work of Derek J. de Solla Price and Eugene Garfield. Also, it covers the various aspects of coronavirus, such as types, symptoms, impact, geography of coronavirus, and preventive measures suggested by multiple agencies from coronavirus. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Chapter Two highlights the importance of a literature review, and more than 100 documents in the form of articles, conference proceedings, books, books, chapters, etc., have been covered on the topic of the study and also mention a summary of the literature and research gap. A literature review is the writing process of summarizing, synthesizing, and critiquing the literature found in a literature search. In this literature review, 80 reviews are taken from reputed journal articles. Chapter Three highlighted various aspects of research such as concepts, types, applications, tools and techniques, characteristics, and importance of research. |
