Abstract: Science education is the process of teaching and learning of science to the students. It newlineprovides practical knowledge of the subject matter, a broad range of skills in problem newlinesolving, logical reasoning and flexible thinking regarding changes around them. newlineScience teaching is an operational procedure that facilitates students to learn new newlinethings, acquire knowledge of concepts, ideas, evidence, interrelation among various newlineinformation, facts through reasoning and shape behavior. Teachers function plays a newlinevital role in students academic achievements in evaluation. newlineStudent s achievement indicates to the extent to which a learner accomplished their newlineshort or long- term educational goals. Academic achievements are strongly correlated newlinewith individual differences, individual personality, motivation and intelligence. newlineThe main purpose of this comparative study is to explore the impact of science newlineteaching on the achievement scores in science of the secondary students of West newlineBengal, Tripura and Odisha (three states of Eastern Part of India) in their Madhyamik newlineExamination. This study investigated and described to find out the similarity in newlinescience curriculum, techniques followed in writing science text books, the use of newlineactivity method of teaching, pattern of evaluation at the secondary level of the these newlinethree states and to observe any significant difference in intelligence and physics test newlinescores; status of correlation between intelligence and physics test, intelligence and newlinescience scores of Madhyamik Examination, physics and science scores of Madhyamik newlineExamination of these three states, The researcher also tried to know the status of newlinecorrelation between the scores of intelligence and physics test on the secondary newlinestudents jointly of these three states of Eastern Part of India. Both the qualitative and newlinequantitative methods of investigation were used for collection of data. The qualitative newlinedata were gathered from the comparative analysis of the (i) state board s science newlinecurriculum, (ii) techniques followed in
