Abstract: | Despite of our best effort to reduce carbon footprint let us extend our imagination to newlinevisualize ahead elaborately what we may face in the year 2050. Every human being can newlinenot leave their house without a fully technologically designed digitalized head gear with newlinecontinuous oxygen supply canister, filters to absorb suspended particulate matter in the newlineatmosphere, wearing absolutely different types of garments to suit climatic change, using newlinespectacles to prevent glair and UV rays, the streets will be full of electric vehicles but newlinemany cities by the bank of rivers or oceans will be submerged under few feet of water, newlinehence changing their mode of transportation i.e., instead of vehicles canopies may be used newlinelike the cities of Venice. Every house will be equipped with gazettes like oxygen plant newlinewith air purifier, solar panel, rain water harvesting devices, electrical devices for cooking newlinewhich will be manufactured by nuclear power plants and on the other hand in order to newlineprevent human beings from the radiation, radio thermal shields will be used. A serious newlinecrisis of drinking water and spread of various contagious diseases will reduce the human newlinepopulation on one hand and would make the remaining population extremely aggressive newlineand violent for their survival and existence. Due to habitat reduction and fragmentation, newlinepeople will shift to a safer zone which might increase the population density which will newlinelead to intraspecific struggle and competition for all the limited resources. This would newlinereduce the population in course of evolution due to violence, riots, mass killing, newlineinnumerable epidemics and endemics and the remaining population would be forced to newlinelive an artificial life totally detached from our mother nature. newlineChapter I: Introduction newline2 newlineIf we want to defer this horrible scenario within our lifetime the only way is to go for mass newlineawareness, transformation in the school curriculum, social campaign to sensitize people newlineregarding the significance of sustainability issues where the school, students and |
